"Opening Švejk restaurant Na Zámecká has long been our wish. The building has been closed for more than three years. When the opportunity arose, we didn't hesitate a minute," says one of the owners, Jaroslav Kružík, adding: "My grandfather, who was also an innkeeper, would have liked the pub."
Guests can choose from four brands of beer. In addition to Pilsner Urquell lager, there are also Velkopopovický Kozel Tmavý and Gambrinus light draught beers on tap. There is also a non-alcoholic beer Birell. The beer here is excellent and properly treated. The quality of the beer served here is helped by the fact that the owners, Mr Kružík and Mr Šalanda, also run the Na Hrázi hotel. This restaurant boasts a certificate awarded by Plzeňský Prazdroj only to those pubs and restaurants that consistently take care of the quality of their beer. The experience of the owners and the fact that the barrels of beer in the Švejk Restaurant Na Zámecká are stored in historical cellars at a constant temperature suggest that the new "Švejk Restaurant" will serve excellent beer.
